Sherri Lynne’s Towing is a towing service in the Louisville, Kentucky area, located in downtown Louisville. We tow cars, light trucks, smaller box trucks and others but we do more than simply towing vehicles.
PROPERTY OWNERS, MANAGERS AND LEASING AGENTS
Sherri Lynne’s will gladly remove such vehicles as you designate from your owned or managed property which are there in violation of your lease terms or city ordinances WITH NO CHARGE TO YOU (that expense is borne by the vehicle owner).
These removals are called “involuntary tows” and are expressly provided for in, and done in accordance with KRS 376.275. In Jefferson County these removals are mandated by Metro ordinance.

Sherri Lynne’s also does by contract and on demand residential and commercial impounds, towing and storage of vehicles in the Metro Louisville area.
In gated communities that use non-removable parking permits, we will also do parking lot patrol after hours under a clear set of guidelines established by contract, doing either booting or tow aways.
Many confuse “impounds” with “repossessions, or ‘repos’” They are not the same by any means.
Repossessions, or “repos” are done where a creditor, who has a financial security interest n a particular vehicle has that vehicle repossessed for lack of proper and timely payment.

Louisville, Kentucky Impounds
“Impounds” is not the same as “repos” at all. Basically, it can be described as a “vehicle trespass” and occurs when someone parks their vehicle where it has no right to be, generally where there is a “no parking” sign of some type, or in violation of a lease agreement.
Sherri Lynne’s will also, at your direction, impound, tow away and store a vehicle parked in a residential apartment complex when it has expired license plates, broken out windows, persistently flat tires, is “stored” or for any other reason the apartment complex manager deems offensive according to the lease signed by the tenant.
The property owner, manager or agent makes both the initial and final decision concerning whether or not any particular vehicle will be impounded and towed away.
There is NO CHARGE to the property owner, manager or agent for either the booting or tow away services. That expense is borne by the owner of the trespassing, or improperly-on-the-property vehicle.
